Our client, in Mississauga, is looking for an Office Manager to support the needs of their growing business. This position would report directly to the Co-Founder & CEO and would be responsible for ensuring effective daily operations and maintenance of the office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and organize office operations
  • Create and implement office policies and procedures
  • Perform general accounting duties
  • Purchase, receive and distribute office supplies and equipment while adhering to budgets
  • Managing office maintenance including equipment, furniture, fixtures etc.
  • Report to leadership team on future office requirements or repairs required.
  • Manage IT equipment and coordinate with IT personnel for any issues
  • Maintain filing systems both electronic and paper files
  • Communicating with vendors
  • Assisting with billing related activities
  • Liaise with suppliers, merchandisers
  • Coordinate office maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate and arrange various events including company events and trade shows
  • Coordinate travel for company related events
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in an Office manager position or similar role
  • Basic bookkeeping accounting skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Advanced MS Office skills especially with Excel and Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a great attitude, with the ability to work with all levels of staff are required in this position
  • Flexibility for work hours as there may be the occasional need for work after hours
  • Prior experience in the tech space is preferred
