This is an exciting opportunity that brings together the retail grocery sector and an enhanced culinary experience.The Administrator Operations is responsible for the administrative support of the Central Kitchens, including data entry, report compilation and distribution, general correspondence, file maintenance and administrative duties as assigned. The Administrator must have a high level of confidentiality and is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Administration Clerk delivers the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. The Administration Clerk demonstrates excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and commitment to the success of the site\'s team. Actively contributes to a positive and productive working environment. The Team Lead administration will oversee a team of admin employees to ensure the site is supported appropriately. Together they will oversee all clerical/ support functions within the site. Actively contribute to a positive, productive, and safe working environment.Here\'s where you\'ll be focusing:

  • Coordinate daily activities of SITE administration personnel
  • Prepare annual budget and capital expenditures
  • Reconcile various G/L accounts on a regular basis to ensure statement accuracy and consistency
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of cut-off accounting working papers
  • Manage expense portion of profit and loss statement
  • Prepare strategies for reducing waste and cost
  • Report variances as required
  • Complete/ edit daily punch details in Kronos for all clerical support staff
  • Complete weekly Manager approval and payroll sign off for upload into SAP
  • Edit management payroll into Kronos
  • Investigate and respond to various questions from customers, vendors, retail, procurement, and corporate office
  • Secure and manage miscellaneous third-party clerical support services including couriers and office equipment
  • Ordering and maintenance of all office supplies
  • Store and retrieve archived site clerical records
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline as required
  • Contribute to positive employee engagement and connection to Sobeys mission and purpose
  • Comply with all site audit expectations (HACCP and OH&S)
  • Ensure food safety guidelines are followed
  • Ensure all food safety practices are in keeping with Sobeys food safety programs and are effectively executed. Monitor outbound trailers to ensure food safety compliance
  • Actively participate with or on various site committees such as OHS, Food Safety, ELS, JLM
  • Comply with all site audits and develop action plans
  • Other duties which may be assigned
What you have to offer:
  • Post secondary Diploma or Equivalent
  • Undergraduate Degree in Management or Logistics
  • A minimum of five years management experience
  • Strong financial background
  • Working knowledge of EXE, SAP, KRONOS, and Microsoft Office
