Department of Physics (Professor Jason Hessels)
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent may perform some or all of the listed general administration functions. These functions are of high complexity and the incumbent performs them using general instruction.
Duties and Responsibilities:Assists EDI committee members in organizing events (such as the EDI colloquium, town halls, social events, training workshops, etc.)
Organizes EDI committee meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and taking notes
Organizes and conducts EDI workshop for CEGEPs
Acts as a liaison between the unit and internal or external parties to provide various assistance or information. This includes liaising with other McGill student organizations.
Creates reports and assists with budget preparation if necessary.
Assists in creation of reports when needed, such as the climate survey report.
Acts as a resource person to resolve various issues that may arise during planning, scheduling and events.
Updates the EDI website and social media accounts.

Education/Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in related field
