POSITION SUMMARY:
The Department of Mining and Materials Engineering is seeking a highly organized and resourceful Office Assistant C to support the preparation efforts for the upcoming accreditation visit of the Mining Engineering program. This position plays a key role in assisting with data collection, curing, and processing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Acts as a liaison between the direct supervisor and the Chair on accreditation preparation. Performs data collection, curing, and processing program-related data and documentation. Conducts review of files for accuracy and identifies any inconsistencies or instabilities. Generates figures and visual materials for reporting and presentation using data sets. Monitor progress on accreditation tasks and follow up with the team to ensure deadlines are met. Organize and identify tasks related to Courseflow software and course data collection, and forward them to the Unit's EMF team Assist in organizing meetings and room bookings

Qualifications:Must possess a High School Diploma Two (2) years of relevant experience working in an office/administrative setting Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools is an asset Familiarity with the Mining Engineering program and the accreditation process is an asset
