Office Administrator
with bookkeeping experience to join our team and support our administrative and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable / Receivable:
Process EFT, wire payments, and credit card transactions.
Enter freight, utilities, and manual invoices into the system.
Match BOLs and receiving reports to PO receipts.
Run weekly payables reports and assist with payment runs.
Handle payments and wire transfers, ensuring accuracy.
Respond to vendor inquiries and send payment confirmations.
AR collections
Operational Support:
Maintain logs, regulatory compliance binders (HACCP, CanadaGAP), and customer rejection trackers.
Manage claims processing and track customer complaints.
Support HR and operations with onboarding and holiday schedules.
Coordinate event planning and logistics for company meetings and activities.
Manage office supply orders and coordinate vendor relations.
Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and managing payroll processes.
Implement effective filing systems to ensure easy access to documents and records.
Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling phone system with professionalism.
Qualifications:
Previous office admin and bookkeeping experience.
Familiarity with AP/AR processes and financial software.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
