Winnipeg Narrative Therapy is a multi office counselling agency proving services to individuals and families.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our office and support our accounting functions. This dynamic, multi-faceted role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop and maintain efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office administration and ensure smooth, and efficient operations.
- Manage document handling processes, including filing, scanning, online submissions, and general administrative support.
- Compile and maintain weekly schedule.
- Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), cash management, and month/year-end bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding or past-due accounts.
- Administer the biweekly payroll system.
- Manage/order office supplies, support general administrative functions, and assist with executive assistant and reception duties as needed.
- Follow existing operational procedures and proactively develop new systems to improve efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications:
-Completion of recognized post-secondary program is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in office administration, office management, or a related role.
- Understanding of accounting principles and strong administrative practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other online tools and software platforms.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving needs in a fast-paced environment
