Job Description

LWL Education is seeking a friendly, reliable, and

bilingual Office Administrator (English & Chinese)

to join our team on a temporary contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a child-focused, community-based environment and values

strong customer service

. You'll be the first point of contact for parents, supporting both day-to-day operations and semester-based admin tasks, with guidance from our admin team.

The schedule is as follows:

Monday-Wednesday 3:00pm-7:00pm Thursday 2:00pm-6:00pm Sunday 9:00am-1:00pm Hours may vary slightly during school breaks or camp periods
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the communication between clients and the company while keeping our class schedules updated and consistent for both staff and students. Greet families and assist with student drop-off/pick-up, while proactively addressing parent inquiries and scheduling needs. Support teachers with class logistics and step in as a teaching assistant when needed to ensure smooth class operations.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Excellent spoken and written English Excellent spoken and written Chinese. Ability to professionally engage with parents and deliver accurate and thorough information about our company. Ability to multitask in a detail-oriented online and in person environment. Confident interpersonal and communicative skills to interact with parents and staff. Proven ability to manage schedules and bookings while being consistent and updated with company standards to best serve our clients. Proficient in WeChat, Whatsapp, Google Drive and Spreadsheets. Willingness and openness to learning in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of records and client information. Demonstrated ability to independently exercise appropriate judgment and to make important decisions on matters of varying complexity. Professional, positive attitude with the demonstrated ability to strategically manage challenges and difficulties. Fluency and experience in social media is an asset. Experience with administration or reception is preferred. 8-month commitment or beyond is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Ability to follow online and in-person training in August to prepare for start date. For in-person shifts, ability to work in our office in Richmond, BC. Must have access to a personal computer. Dress code while in office is business casual. Company phone and material is provided. We offer $22 to start depending on experience!

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
