We're seeking an office administrator to work with us in the Muskoka and Parry Sound region to support our main office in Port Carling. The Office Administrator supports the SIFFT team by helping with financial and administrative functions.
What you'll do
Support the office admin team with accounts payable, payroll processing and other accounting and bookkeeping duties for SIFFT and affiliated companies.
Act as the first face and voice customers and employees engage with when contacting our company by answering the phone, welcom ing office visitors, and manag ing our i ncoming email communication.
Support our company's human resources functions, including administering our employee
database , health & dental benefits , and employee training.
S upport company-wide communications and coordinate company events.
Act as b ackup support for securing ESA permits and liais ing with Hydro One for service order layouts/disconnects/reconnects and locates as required .
Ensure confidentiality of all company information and protect and safeguard company assets, documents, files and records.
Assist in other duties as required by the direct supervisor.
Experience and qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
Computer literate with solid knowledge of MS Office (Word/Outlook/Excel)
Previous electrical or construction industry administrative experience preferred.
Previous experience in an accounting, human resources, marketing or public relations role would be an asset.
