One of our banking clients is looking for an Office Administrator (Collections support agent)
Length: 12 months of contract with a possibility of extension
Location: Mississauga, ON (HYBRID)
Timings: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Requirements:
Role Mandate:
Provide administrative support and coordination for Canada Collections Group to enable an efficiently run and organized department.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Directing the paper flow of documents and correspondence within and outside the department
Carrying out daily administrative support within the department
Supporting department employees with assigned tasks, monitoring, researching, and coordinating department tasks and activities
Maintaining documentation and reporting
Coordinates specific processes related to Collections area assigned
Prepare and maintain department paper/electronic files, relevant paperwork, correspondence, etc.
Process, report and track invoices and billing
Provide timely follow up to various information and process requests
Monitor accounts and processes from an administrative perspective and follow up as appropriate in accordance with bank policies and procedures
Research accounts, delinquencies, and special situations
Adhere to all applicable guidelines, requirements, and regulations
Complete function-specific or special projects as requested or required in accordance with established procedures, regulations, and policies
Coordinate department events, meetings, and functions
Other administrative duties as assigned Risk Management
Ensure compliance with government regulations, internal policies, procedures, and guidelines for the purpose of audit and compliance
Support functional area and its customers; number of team members supported can range from 2-7

Qualifications:
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
Knowledge of relevant Collections processes, systems, and laws
Advanced PC and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access)
Customer service experience
Ability to work and make decisions independently within set policy and procedural guidelines
Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:
Previous banking / FI experience

SOFT SKILLS
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and workflow
Highly collaborative work style
High integrity
Customer service orientation
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
