Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly organized and versatile Office Administrator to join our residential renovation company. In this critical role, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative, financial, and operational functions to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our business. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling email and phone correspondence Order and maintain office supplies Manage office equipment & vehicle fleet Maintain and update the company construction management software Billing, invoicing, receiving and applying payments in the system Issue Purchase Orders to subcontractors and vendors Manage HR responsibilities, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and other related tasks. Provide basic in-house IT support for staff and coordinate with external IT subcontractors as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in office administration, operations, or a similar role, preferably within the construction or renovation industry. Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, staff, and suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), scheduling tools, and basic IT troubleshooting. Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of HR practices and procedures is a plus. High school diploma required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred. English Language: Proficient in reading, writing & verbal. French language is an asset.
