Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy Administrative & Customer Service Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys helping people.
You'll be the first point of contact for our members and clients -- greeting guests, answering questions, managing bookings, and supporting both gym and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email and SMS Text
Manage client check-ins, memberships, and appointment scheduling
Support clinic practitioners and trainers with daily administrative needs
Process payments, update client information, and maintain accurate records
Operate and troubleshoot Mac-based systems and software (e.g., scheduling apps, email, spreadsheets)
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area. Assist in cleaning areas of the gym during shifts
Assist with member communication, class updates, and promotional events
Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory tracking
Qualifications:
Previous experience in administration, reception, or customer service
Comfortable using Mac computers and applications like Google documents, and scheduling software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organization and time management
Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
