Tony's Meats Ltd. is looking to hire a Office Administration Assistant to join our team!

Established in 1963, Tony's Meats Ltd. is a privately owned federally registered company which produces and distributes an extensive selection of high quality raw and fully cooked further processed meat products under the Tony's Meats TM and Mr. Donair TM brands as well as many private label brands at both food service and retail establishments across Canada.

Responsibilities



Manage and coordinate all sales orders going into the system and EDI going out Contact customers directly to obtain orders and advise of production scheduling challenges General ledger entries and reconciliation Greet customers wishing to purchase bulk products directly and process their transactions Generate paperwork for carriers (pallet labels, bills of lading) Complete credit applications for new suppliers Setup new customers, suppliers and ingredients in the company's ERP system (Syspro) Perform end of day and month end activities in Syspro Provide staff training on the use of Syspro and it's functions Direct customer inquiries and complaints to the appropriate person in the company Communicate with logistics dispatchers to coordinate product pickups according to production schedules. Bring forward suggestions or opportunities for productivity improvement. Maintain a respectful, professional work environment Advise managers of problems or issues after attempts to resolve them have been ineffective. Ensure security and confidentiality of data Analyze and monitor internal processes Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory

Hours



Monday to Thursdays 9am to 4pm

Requirements



Attention to detail Good time management Knowledgeable on accounting or willigness to learn Customer serviece experience an asset Enjoy working with people Good English skills (IELTS or equivilant Level 6/7 or higher) Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures or willingness to learn Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures Computer skills and experience working within a digital accounting and inventory management system
