Job Summary

Fernie RV Resort is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team for the Fall/Winter 2025/26 season.

This is a part-time position (three days per week) beginning October 2025 until April 15, 2026.

October shifts are 10am - 6pm, November - April shifts are 1pm - 5pm. Shifts are currently scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday but may be flexible for the right candidate.

This position has the option to continue into a full-time seasonal position for the Spring/Summer 2026 season.

The Office Administration team is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining efficient office operations.

Primary Duties

Include:

Manage front desk operations, greeting guests with professionalism and courtesy. Completing reservations over the phone, via email, and in-person using an online booking software. Checking guests in and out for their stays, providing information about resort amenities, as well as information about the local area. Attending to guest needs and inquiries by phone, email, or in-person. Ensuring guests adhere to resort policies, enforcing rules tactfully. Coordinating with maintenance and housekeeping departments; helping with other departments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in hospitality and/or customer service roles an asset. Completion of secondary school or equivalent. Strong communication skills necessary (written and oral). Friendly and professional attitude; must enjoy interacting with guests and find providing exceptional customer service important and rewarding. Detail-oriented, efficient, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of working alone. Must be comfortable working with computer programs and speaking on the phone with professional phone etiquette.
