School Medical Office Assistant (MOA)

to support the delivery of high-quality care in our on-campus Health Centre.

As a co-educational boarding school with approximately 550 students, Brentwood is a vibrant and caring community committed to the health and well-being of our students. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and clinical support within the Health Centre, working collaboratively with the Health Centre Manager and healthcare team. This role involves a blend of front-line student interaction, appointment coordination, record keeping, and basic first aid support.

What You'll Do:



As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for students accessing health services, greeting and directing them to the appropriate care. You'll coordinate and confirm medical appointments, tests, and follow-ups while managing the schedules of nurses and the school physician.

Your role includes maintaining accurate electronic medical records, taking and recording vital signs, and providing basic first aid and wound care. You'll also ensure the Health Centre remains clean, well-stocked, and organized, and occasionally transport students to off-campus appointments. Additionally, you'll contribute to team meetings and ongoing improvements to support the smooth, student-focused operation of the Health Centre.

Note:

This position involves working 20 hours per week including every Saturday while school is in session, plus on-call availability as needed. Flexibility is necessary due to the nature of a boarding school environment.
