Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will assist in delivering high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist and/or Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Responsibilities
Support implementation of individualized therapy plans for children ages 0-17.
Facilitate sessions focusing on fine motor, sensory, self-regulation, feeding, or communication goals.
Assist in documenting session notes, progress, and client engagement.
Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly therapy environment.
Communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, and team members.
Support workshops, caregiver consultations, and community outreach programs as needed.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited OTA or SLPA program.
Experience working with children and families (clinic, school, or community setting preferred).
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism.
Current Vulnerable Sector Check and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
