Responsibilities:

Provide Occupational Therapy services to clients in the comfort of their homes, in-clinic, and/or virtual Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualised treatment plans, and implementing interventions for children with various developmental needs Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment goals and plans Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities tailored to the specific needs of each child Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans Offer guidance and education to families and caregivers to support therapy carryover in home and school settings
Qualifications/Requirements:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an occupational therapist in the pediatric setting (preferred) Minimum of 4 sessions per week A valid driver's license and access to transportation for home or school visits is required Professional liability insurance Comfortable and willing to enter client homes to provide therapy services Strong communication and interpersonal skills A current criminal reference check for vulnerable population Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment Knowledge of relevant provincial legislation, standards, and best practices in pediatric Occupational Therapy
