Stepping Stones Therapy is seeking an Expert Occupational Therapist for Children with Disabilities

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities? Our esteemed child and youth therapy center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team!

As an OT at our center, you will have the incredible opportunity to work directly with children with disabilities, helping them overcome communication challenges and unlock their full potential. You will be part of a team of compassionate professionals, including Behavior Analysts, Speech and Language Pathologists, Counsellors, Registered Behavior Technicians and Speech and Language Assistants who are committed to making a difference in the lives of these exceptional children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify difficulties related to occupational therapy in children with disabilities Develop personalized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve daily living skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and social skills. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to therapy. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of occupational therapy

Qualifications and Requirements:



Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Valid Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). Eligibility for registration on the Registry of Autism Service Providers is an asset. Experience working with children with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and therapy needs.
