Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a PRIVATE CLINIC setting and possess a strong background in patient care, particularly with Sports, MVA, WCB injuries. You will play a critical role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation goals. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case management activities. Stay current with medical terminology and best practices in occupational therapy to enhance patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to further enhance skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist. Hospital experience preferred, with a focus on acute care settings. Familiarity with case management processes and medical terminology is essential. Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating empathy and patience towards patients' needs. Pay: $29.07-$79.43 per hour
