Job Description

Connecting Dots is seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to join our team serving Calgary and area. We provide support for children, youths, and parents in their natural environments, such as home, school, or local community. We help families learn and grow to meet their potential. Duties include:

1. Provision of therapy services focusing on functional outcomes

2. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals

3. Supervision of assistants and/or behavioural aides

4. Documentation as per Connecting Dots policies and college requirements

5. Travel to clients' homes or other community locations

Successful applicants must have:

1. Previous experience working with children

2. Regular availability to see clients in after-school hours.

3. Clear police check and vulnerable sector check within the last year

4. Valid driver's licence and regular access to a reliable vehicle

The successful applicant must be registered or eligible to be registered with the
Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

This is a temporary contract position to cover a maternity leave. There is potential for the position to turn into more permanent hours. Ideally suited to an independent contractor looking to partner with a highly motivated multi-disciplinary team. New graduates are welcome to apply. Start date is flexible.

Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour
