Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and outpatient clinics. This role requires a strong background in patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on delivering exceptional care to diverse populations, including children and seniors.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across various age groups. Administer medications and manage pain management protocols as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner. Perform procedures such as phlebotomy and laboratory tests when required. Engage in case management activities to coordinate care for patients with complex needs. Offer support in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care settings as necessary.

Skills

Experience with children and pediatrics is highly desirable. Previous nursing home or senior care experience is a plus. Proficient in acute care practices and pain management strategies. Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care protocols. Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner) is beneficial. Knowledge of dementia care practices and laboratory procedures is an advantage. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $48.45-$122.36 per hour
