Responsibilities
Conduct thorough health assessments and physical examinations.
Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans.
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
Provide preventative care, health promotion, and patient education.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Uphold all ethical and legal standards of professional practice.
Qualifications
Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing.
Current registration and good standing with Ontario College of Nurses as a Nurse Practitioner.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
