Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The NP will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education and administering IVs. This role is ideal for someone who values holistic care, evidence-based practice, and building meaningful relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough health assessments and physical examinations. Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with professional standards and regulations. Provide preventative care, health promotion, and patient education. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. Uphold all ethical and legal standards of professional practice.

Qualifications

Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing. Current registration and good standing with Ontario College of Nurses as a Nurse Practitioner. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. Commitment to patient-centered and evidence-based care.
