Job Description

Critical Trauma Therapy has an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and client-centered Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our clinic located in the St. Catharines General Hospital. The NP will provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with individuals diagnosed with: Traumatic Brain Injury, chronic pain, mental health concerns, and/or ADHD.

Key Responsibilities



Provide comprehensive collaborative primary care and services working within the full scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.

Prepare and submit requisitions for diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, bloodwork) and laboratory tests, ensuring compliance with protocols and timely follow-up on results.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all patient interactions and care plans are documented.

Accurately complete auto insurance forms and documentation

Completion of Disability Tax Credit applications, ODSP applications, where applicable

Qualifications



Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or relevant healthcare setting.

MVA sector experience is considered a strong asset.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

We are a dynamic, multidisciplinary company providing client-centered services to clients of all ages, who have sustained serious injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident. We also service Veterans Affairs, WSIB, and private pay clients.
