Launched in 2019, the Ontario Prevention Clinic / The PrEP Clinic is Ontario's original online PrEP service. We also have in-person full-service clinics in Toronto, Brampton, and Ottawa. We currently provide services to 4,000 Ontarians.

To further support the health and wellness of even more in the province, we are looking to bring on another dynamic Nurse Practitioner passionate about sexual health.

Your role would be to provide in-person consults to initiate and monitor PrEP therapy at the clinic's

Ottawa location at 19 Main St on Wednesdays 4pm-9pm (5pm-9pm also possible)

. This will include assessment, prescribing, and ongoing care to your patients. The Ottawa clinic also offer general STI/STBBI assessment and treatment for the general public in addition to our ongoing PrEP patients.

The clinic has standardized prescribing protocols and guidelines to ensure quality care. Our highly experienced clinic and pharmacy team also provides ongoing support (support will be available from the 12 other Nurse Practitioners currently with the team). On-site patient support specialists and RPNs/RNs are there to provide additional assistance.

The role is for 5-10 hours per week inclusive of follow-up care. Periodic bonuses are also included based on performance. You will invoice the clinic directly. Opportunity for additional hours working online may be available and back-up coverage for our Monday evening in-person day.

Experience with diverse patient populations, especially the LGBTQ+ community, is an asset and preferred. Multilingual candidates (especially French, Spanish, or Portuguese) are a plus but is not a requirement.
