Launched in 2019, the Ontario Prevention Clinic / The PrEP Clinic is Ontario's original
online
PrEP service. We also have in-person full-service clinics in Toronto, Brampton, and Ottawa. We currently provide services to 5,000+ Ontarians.
This role is for providing care at our in-person Toronto location, supporting our pop-up clinics, and online/remote care hours.
Your role would be to provide in-person consults to initiate and monitor PrEP therapy at the clinic's
180 Bloor St West
physical location and supporting our occasional external pop-up clinics. This will include assessment, prescribing, and ongoing care to your patients. This also encompasses supporting the overall sexual health of your patients, including STI/STBBI assessment and treatment. The online care portion of the role is provided all across Ontario remotely.
The clinic has standardized prescribing protocols and guidelines to ensure quality care. Support will be available from the 12 other Nurse Practitioners currently with the team and our Clinical Director.
On-site patient support specialists, RPNs/RNs, and clinical pharmacists are there to provide additional collaboration. We are a highly inter-collaborative and team-based setting.
The role is for 26-32 hours per week inclusive of follow-up care. In-person rate is $90/hour and online or admin hours are $75/hour.

The clinic strongly believes in equality, diversity, and actively engages in supporting antiracism in the workplace and for our patients.
Team members are respected and recognized for their work.
Experience with diverse patient populations, especially the LGBTQ+ community, is an asset and preferred. Multilingual candidates (especially Spanish or Portuguese) are a plus but is not a requirement.
Clinical experience preferences include: sexual health, PrEP & HIV care, and primary care.
While the clinic has grown significantly over the years, we are a close-knit team and are not a "corporate" environment - always putting our patients first.
