Duties

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medical protocols. Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care across various settings including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner. Stay current with medical terminology and best practices in nursing and patient care.

Requirements

Valid Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications. Experience working with children, seniors, or in acute care settings is preferred. Familiarity with pain management techniques and case management principles. Proficiency in medication administration and phlebotomy skills. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and dementia care practices is advantageous. Previous experience in home care or medical office environments is a plus.
