About the Role
This is a subcontractor position compensated on a per-diem basis. Final rates will be determined based on experience and the scope of services provided.
The ideal candidate is passionate about optimizing patient health through hormone therapy, metabolic support (including GLP-1 medications), and lifestyle-based care. This role can be hybrid and requires a minimum of 2 days per week, with a strong preference for 3-4 days/week.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you'll work closely with our nurse, weight loss coach, nutritionist, and therapist to provide empathetic, patient-centered care. You'll engage with patients at various stages of their hormone and weight optimization journey, acting not just as a healthcare provider but as a motivator and supporter.
You will join a growing team supported by a robust administrative structure, streamlined clinical protocols, and ongoing training. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow with a high-performing, patient-centered clinic.
This role is varied, dynamic, and deeply rewarding. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting patient visits and clinical assessments, including hormone and metabolic health evaluations
Performing body composition testing, interpreting results, and documenting progress
Prescribing and monitoring hormone therapies and GLP-1 medications as appropriate (training provided)
Ordering and reviewing bloodwork and prescriptions, and adjusting care plans accordingly
Following up with patients through

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner (NP) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), with no restrictions.
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner required.
Experience or strong interest in obesity medicine, metabolic health, preventative care, or holistic wellness.
Background in weight management, Health Coaching, or similar patient-centered education is a strong asset.
Availability to work part-time (minimum 2 days/week) with the potential to transition to full-time, including occasional weekends.
Must carry your own professional liability insurance.
Preferred Qualifications (Training Provided)
Experience in menopause and perimenopause management.
Experience prescribing or managing GLP-1 medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide).
Certification in hormone optimization (e.g., Worldlink) or willingness to pursue.
Menopause Society certification (or interest in obtaining).
Background in BHRT is an asset.
