Position Title: Nurse Practitioner
Job Type- Part-time, Friday Evening Shift (5pm-8pm)
Location: Brightside Medical Clinic
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner provides high quality, patient-centered healthcare in collaboration with physicians and other members of the Brightside medical team. The NP will preform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans. The specific role will be urgent care shifts on Friday nights from 5-8pm with a competitive rate.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
- Preform comprehensive health assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.
- Diagnose acute and chronic conditions and develop evidence based treatment plans.
-Prescribe medications, treatment diagnostic tests and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results to guide clinical decision making.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and community resources as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
-Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, clinic policies, and professional practice guidelines.
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with privacy laws.
- Stay current with evidence-based practice, continuing education, and certification requirements.
