Job Summary
Position Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (30-40 hours per week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health promotion, and disease prevention, while working independently within their full scope of practice as defined by the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
Key Responsibilities:
o
Perform comprehensive health assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate care plans.o
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.o
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with provincial regulations.o
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.o
Provide patient education and health promotion.o
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).o
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinic development.Qualifications:
o
Current registration and practice permit as a Nurse Practitioner (Family/All Ages or Adult) with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).o
Master's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.o
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.o
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.o
Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (e.g., Accuro, Med Access, Wolf, etc.).Why Join Us:
