As a Nurse Practitioner in this dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, you will play a pivotal role in delivering patient- and family-centered oncology care, with a specialized focus on urological cancers. In this clinically focused role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage treatment for adult patients with complex urological cancers, including advanced prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers. Your scope of practice will include: Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Prescribing medications, blood products, and diagnostic imaging agents. Recommending medical devices and therapies. Performing procedures and interventions as required. You will apply advanced knowledge of acute and chronic illness to support oncology care across multiple tumor groups, with a particular emphasis on urology. As a clinical leader, you will champion evidence-based practices and contribute to the development of care frameworks and strategies that enhance patient outcomes and quality of life. Description:
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients. Additionally, you will utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research to increase care quality, promote appropriate use of health services, and inform and influence healthcare systems.
