The Role

Echelon Wellness is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our clinic in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality in-person assessment, screening, and therapeutic care to a specialized patient population.

Responsibilities

Provide thorough clinical assessments and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans Prescribe and manage therapeutic care in accordance with patient needs Deliver empathetic and efficient clinical service in a primary care setting Utilize shockwave therapy in the management of specific chronic conditions Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with professional standards and privacy legislation Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Stay current with best practices, regulations, and ethical standards in nurse practitioner practice
Qualifications/Education

Current certificate of registration as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the College of Nurses of Alberta Master of Science in Nursing (or relevant graduate degree preferred) Demonstrated ability to conduct patient interviews, physical examinations, and implement client-centered treatment plans Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Capable of working independently with a high degree of self-direction Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and digital tools Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Additional liability coverage required; relevant professional memberships are an asset Applicants must have the legal right to work in Canada (sponsorship is not available at this time)
