As an Operations & Inside Sales Coordinator, you will play a dual role supporting both the operational execution of international shipments (air and ocean) and the growth of our business through inside sales.
On the operations side, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless, detail-oriented handling of shipments while juggling multiple priorities and maintaining strong communication with customers and partners. On the sales side, no prior experience is required - just self-motivation, a proactive attitude, and the drive to contribute to our growth. We provide commission incentives and bonuses for sales contributions.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations
Manage day-to-day international freight forwarding operations for both air and ocean shipments
Coordinate bookings, documentation, customs requirements, and delivery schedules
Monitor shipments proactively, troubleshoot issues, and keep customers updated
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
Build strong working relationships with carriers, agents, and vendors
Prioritize and manage multiple shipments under tight timelines
Ensure exceptional customer service by handling inquiries promptly and professionally
Inside Sales
Support the development of new business opportunities with prospective clients
Identify customer needs and provide tailored logistics solutions
Collaborate with the sales team to prepare rate quotes and proposals
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and potential opportunities
Contribute to revenue growth and participate in achieving company sales goals
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of international freight forwarding operations experience (air & ocean)
Strong knowledge of customs documentation and global shipping practices
Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
Strong communication skills (oral & written) in French and English
Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and driven to contribute to both operations and sales success
Inside sales experience not required - but willingness to learn and grow in sales is essential
Experience with CargoWise is an asset
