About the Role



We are looking for an experienced

NPI (New Product Introduction) Manager

to lead the successful launch of new aerospace and nuclear machining programs from concept to full production. This role oversees technical readiness, process validation, cross-functional alignment, and customer interface for all new product initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in complex machining environments (AS9100/NADCAP/CSA N299) and understands the technical, quality, and program management requirements of highly regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities



Program Leadership



Oversee full NPI lifecycle: planning, PPAP/FAI, process development, production readiness, and handoff to operations. Develop project timelines, technical plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Production, Tooling, Supply Chain, and CNC Machining.

Technical Readiness



Ensure all fixtures, tooling, process documentation, and inspection requirements are validated before production launch. Lead manufacturability reviews and drive design/process improvements.

Quality & Compliance



Manage AS9100/NADCAP/CSA N299 requirements for new programs. Ensure all documentation (FAIs, Control Plans, PFMEAs, PPAP packages, etc.) meets aerospace and nuclear compliance standards.

Customer & Supplier Interface



Act as primary technical contact for customer engineering and supplier qualification teams. Support source inspections and customer audits.

Continuous Improvement



Implement lessons learned, process optimization, and standardization across all new programs. Improve NPI workflows to reduce launch time and improve cost effectiveness.

Qualifications



5+ years in NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, or similar role in aerospace/nuclear machining. Strong understanding of precision machining, GD&T, and inspection requirements. Experience with AS9100, NADCAP, CSA N299 or other regulated industry standards. Proven ability to manage complex engineering and manufacturing projects. Strong communication, planning, and cross-functional leadership skills. Ability to work hands-on with engineering, machinists, and quality teams.
