Notary, Real Estate Law, 4 years +Are you looking for the new challenge in a stimulating and dynamic environment?
Would you like to be part of an established team within a reputable firm?Our client, a recognized law firm with beautiful offices in downtown Montreal, is looking for an experienced notary wishing to take its real estate practice to the next level.YOUR ROLE :
- Perform title examinations and preparing title opinions;
- Assist partners in commercial real estate transactions;
- Perform off-title searches;
- Draft deeds of sale, mortgages and easements;
- Meet parties to receive signatures on notarial deeds;
- Publish deeds in the Land Registry and facilitate financing arrangements;
- Draft legal opinions and analyze title insurance policies.
- Bachelor\'s degree in law and a Master of Laws in Notarial Law (LL.M.);
- Be a member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Qu\xc3\xa9bec;
- Minimum of approximately 4 years of professional experience as a notary in the real estate sector in private practice;
- Legal knowledge in matrimonial regimes, corporate law, security, mandate, trust, property law, contracts, bankruptcy, persons, successions, etc.;
- Fluently bilingual in French and English, both orally and in writing
