Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate would have ship hull survey experience ( Ultrasonic thickness method ), be responsible for carrying out ship hull surveys and providing client with very detailed reports.
Eastern Technical Services is a small business that have been carrying out non destructive testing locally for over 50 years.
Duties
Perform non-destructive testing using methods such as ultrasonic thickness, to carry out ship hull surveys. Inspections may be carried out in a smaller confine space or at heights. Have a good ability to organize, record and carry out detailed ship survey inspection in a timely manner Maintain exceptional communication with clients. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports documenting findings.
Qualifications
CGSB Level 1 Ultrasonic certification. Magnetic particle & liquid penetrant certifications would be an asset. Excellent computer skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting of test results.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
