Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to lead our welding team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in various welding processes, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. As a Welding Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensure quality control, and mentor team members to achieve optimal performance.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the welding team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Conduct regular inspections of welding work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Provide training and guidance on welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, as well as the use of various tools and equipment. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate assembly and fabrication. Oversee the operation of machinery such as plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and forklifts. Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.

Skills

Proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, and other welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining and assembly processes. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, ductwork fabrication, and construction practices. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively for precise execution of projects. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Experience operating forklifts safely within a manufacturing setting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
