If you do not have experience making bread from scratch in a production setting you will be immediately disqualified as an applicant.

We are interested in a person who wants to make baking their career, a more senior role in our current bread department.

This position is for a candidate that must have great interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work within a team & independently, who has the highest level of respect for the heritage of the craft. This is a Full-time position, with some flexibility in hours available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise baking personnel and bake schedule/program Implement production schedule Mixing bread Proof and bake bread for the day Prep and scale out for bread production for following day Maintain stocks of dry baked products Maintain the mother yeast program Ensure that products are baked to proper temperature and doneness Perform quality testing on all production for the day Tear down and clean before end of the day Follow guidance from management and complete tasks as directed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experienced with at least 1 year in a professional bread baking position Experience baking sourdough Experience in a commercial/Professional kitchen Knowledge of sour dough/hand shaping culture

Up to 8 hour shifts Morning shift Day shift Weekend availability

Experience:

Baking: 1 year (preferred) Bread (Sourdough is a plus)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
