Full-Time Bread Baker / Pastry Chef

Italian & Portuguese Family-Owned Business

We are a warm, family-owned Italian and Portuguese bakery looking for a skilled and passionate Bread Baker / Pastry Chef to join our team on a part-time basis. Our bakery is rooted in tradition, celebrating the flavors and techniques passed down through generations, while bringing fresh, handmade breads and pastries to our community.

Position: Full-Time Bread Baker / Pastry Chef

Location: Brampton

Schedule: Full-time (early mornings and/or weekends required)

Responsibilities:

Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of breads, pastries, and traditional Italian & Portuguese baked goods. Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation. Assist with daily production, inventory, and prep. Ensure proper food safety, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen. Collaborate with the family team to develop and maintain authentic recipes.
Qualifications:

Previous professional baking or pastry experience preferred (bread baking strongly desired). Knowledge of Italian and/or Portuguese pastries a plus, but not required--willing to train the right person. Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a small team. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Flexible availability (early mornings and weekends).
