Night Supervisor
for the Addictions Treatment Services program.
The Night Supervisor will be directly responsible for the care and well-being of the residents and the facility during scheduled shifts and must remain awake. This position requires the applicants to work primarily overnights, including weekend shifts. The candidate will guide and educate residents with regards to addictions using a model based on a non-disease approach, set limits on resident behaviour and enforce same in accordance with program expectations.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 High School or equivalent, with basic writing skills to facilitate the completion of documentation.
The candidate must possess knowledge of substance abuse issues and treatment methodologies and demonstrate an ability to work effectively with people without supervision.
The candidate must have a valid driver's licence.
Knowledge of Indigenous heritage, culture, spirituality, customs and language will be considered an asset.
Must have satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check, Criminal Record Check and Driver's Abstract.
