PRIMARY FUNCTION

Objective: Full cooperation is essential with all employees to sustain high levels of productivity. To maintain a high standard of time management in order to complete assigned tasks for the day. Ensure all guests\xe2\x80\x99 requests are handled as promptly as possible. Be friendly and courteous to all guests as well as fellow staff members.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inform Executive or Assistant Executive Housekeeper of all jobs accomplished.
  • To assist in maintaining of criteria set by Housekeeping department
  • On a daily basis the night cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness for Main Lodge, All function rooms, gym facilities and common areas including public bathrooms
  • To perform daily cleaning of sweeping, moping, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning equipment.
  • If the housekeepers require extras they will radio the houseman to retrieve the items for them.
  • If we are short staffed the houseman may be asked to housekeep
  • To assist with guests luggage when required.
  • To assist guest with making a fire in guest rooms.
  • To help front desk with night auditor coverage and to investigate with noise complaints.
  • To observe dress code and wear appropriate footwear
  • To ensure Public safety including general comfort and wellbeing of public
  • To maintain regular work schedule as outlined
  • Special projects may be assigned by the Executive Housekeeper Manager including deep cleaning.
  • To report maintenance concerns/issues arise with the proper documentation through Front Desk
  • To ensure your master keys are turned in and you sign in/our properly
  • Extra hours required will be authorized by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • To perform other duties as required





EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
  • Field work in housekeeping/laundry department.
  • The ability to make constant radio contact in English on a daily basis both with the Front Desk and the Housekeeping Mgr/Assistant
  • Embraces challenges, ambitious.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to emergency situations
  • Physical demands, sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 30 lbs)
  • May be required to work outside in all seasons (Winter, spring, summer and Fall)
