Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent - Best Western Brantford

Job Summary

We are currently hiring for a hybrid role that combines Night Auditor and Front Desk Agent responsibilities. The successful candidate will work 2-3 overnight shifts and 2-3 daytime shifts per week, providing consistent guest service and operational support across both timeframes.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in both independent and team settings, and has strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Provide friendly and efficient check-in/check-out service to guests Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and room assignments Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and prepare end-of-day reports Monitor hotel security and ensure guest safety during overnight hours Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations Assist with shift transitions and relay important guest or operational notes

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit roles preferred Experience with Visual Matrix PMS considered a strong asset Experience working at a Best Western branded property is an asset Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and collaboratively during daytime operations Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
