POSITION SUMMARY

The New Product Development Parts Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, communicating and documenting all actively between the Prototype Shop, Engineering and our external/internal suppliers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Issue PO requests for Prototype Shop parts, services and outside contractors Order of parts for all Prototype Shop Engineering projects Obtains quotations from vendors for prototype parts to ensure favourable quality, price and delivery terms Assist with scheduling contractors for shop maintenance Responsible for shipping/receiving and the coordination of parts material deliveries Other administrative duties as required

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Minimum of 5 years of experience related to the essential functions Must have demonstrated experience with MRP Systems (Oracle) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Possess strong organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team Demonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high demanding fast paced work environment Experience with Share Point Proto Shop Work Request is considered an asset
