Based in St. Brieux, SK, DryAir is a manufacturer of portable, hydronic heating systems. Our modular equipment is sold primarily to rental companies and supports a diverse range of applications, including data center testing & commissioning, boiler tie-ins & fluid heating, chiller testing & commissioning, industrial heating & cooling, ground thaw, concrete curing & emergency heat.

Position Overview:

As the New Product Development Manager, you will work on site in St. Brieux, SK and play a pivotal role in driving the research and development activities for our hydronic heating and cooling solutions. Leveraging your engineering expertise and industry knowledge, you will lead our R&D team to create and introduce new products that set industry benchmarks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, specifically within the HVAC sector, and a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering innovative projects.

Responsibilities:

Product Development Leadership:

Lead and manage the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless execution of new product initiatives.

Innovation and Research:

Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation. Drive research initiatives to explore and implement cutting-edge technologies in industrial hydronic heating and cooling.

Project Management:

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Development:

Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and designers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the R&D department.

Quality Assurance:

Contribute to the development of a formalized quality control program, ensuring that products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, with a focus on hydronic heating solutions or related HVAC technologies. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of hydronic heating systems, HVAC technologies, and related engineering principles. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Leadership and Communication:

Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Innovative Thinking:

Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically to drive innovation in product development.
