New Model Associate Job Duties:
Comp data reviews (identify change points and set improvement plans)
Ensure adherence to Safety, Quality, Total Production Management (TPM) & General Policies
Data trend analysis (identifies change points and set improvement plan)
Accuracy concern root cause analysis
Customer & Internal problem investigation, root cause determination and countermeasure
Daily report to management on progress of project status
Complete accuracy investigations and complete modification requests
Jig adjustment, confirmation, and layout support.
Problem tracking chart development and follow up
IPP tag issuing for accuracy improvement items and tracking
Process verification of equipment and parts
Complete line calls for issues relating to the accuracy of the parts, comps and equipment.
Other duties as assigned
What We Look For:
University or College diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Proven Work Experience
Good Knowledge of APQP, MSA, SPC (Capability Studies), PFMEA (VDA Version), Control plan & PPAP
Good Knowledge of GM GP12 Process
Good Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Understanding of part drawings and blue print reading
Willing and able to support overtime and weekends as required
Ability to work occasional shift rotations (days, afternoons & midnights)
Must be willing and able to travel internationally
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
