Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located on the North Shore of Montreal, a network and security administrator.   • Manage the company\'s Microsoft servers, as well as communications equipment such as firewalls, switches, routers and wireless access points.
  • Guarantee the security of the company network by proposing improvements and following established security policies, while maintaining monitoring tools.
  • Ensure the performance, availability and security of environments in accordance with policies in place, and maintain monitoring tools.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure recovery when necessary, as well as recovery tests on different servers.
  • Manage user access on the network and on Office 365.
  • Monitor, detect, investigate and resolve security alerts by analyzing available logs, reports and tools, and provide regular reports and statistics to management.
  • Document and update the documentation and management processes of the company\'s computer network.
  • Perform system updates outside of office hours.
  • College diploma in information technology or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience administering servers and network equipment such as routers, switches and firewalls.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Windows Server environments from 2012 to 2022, including management of Active Directory, GPOs, file and print servers as well as Terminal servers.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles including DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP routing and SD-WAN.
  • Advanced mastery of cloud services with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in French, with a functional knowledge of English.
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, versatility, sense of organization and respect for deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driver\'s license and vehicle.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft, CISSP, GIAC, etc. are an asset.
  • Knowledge of standards such as ISO27001/2, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, ITIL, COBIT is an asset
