We are looking for an experienced software developer focused primary on the .NET Framework. TownSuite Municipal Software creates and maintains Desktop, Web and Mobile apps for local governments across Canada. If you are looking to live and work in Central Newfoundland this may be a great opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages.
- Develop technical specifications and architecture.
- Test and debug various .NET applications.
- Review and refactor code.
- Upgrade and expand on existing programs.
- Support junior developers\' work.
- Document development and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Work experience as a .NET Developer.
- Experience in Blazor or ASP.NET Core a strong asset.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (C# and Visual Basic .NET)
- A good understanding of reusable libraries is a strong asset
- Experience with migrating .NET 4.8 to ASP.NET Core is a strong asset.
- Experience with adapting legacy WinForm applications to utilize microservices and APIs is a strong asset.
- Troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication skills.
