Job Title: C# / .NET Software Developer Company: AbaData Location: Calgary Industry: Mapping and visualization for energy, environmental, renewables, and utilities industries About AbaData Founded in 2003, AbaData is Western Canada\'s leading mapping and visualization platform displaying comprehensive land and infrastructure data to the energy, environmental, renewables, and utilities industries. We value innovation, collaboration, and growth, and are seeking an experienced C# ASP.NET Software Developer to join our team. Role Overview As a C# ASP.NET Software Developer, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, third-party libraries, and have a good eye for visual design and usability. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment is a plus. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team and product managers to create software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build visually appealing and user-friendly application front-ends
• Develop and manage databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software for responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug, and expand software
• Maintain security and data protection settings
• Create features and applications with mobile-responsive design

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role (minimum 3 years)
• Experience developing desktop and native mobile applications
• Familiarity with common tech stacks
• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Experience with back-end languages (e.g., C# .NET) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Dojo, Node.js)
• Experience with SQL Server Databases, IIS web servers, and UI/UX design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and an analytical mind

Nice-to-Haves

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field
• Familiarity with ESRI JSAPI development or other GIS development
