Our Asset Integrity Management Team is now looking for NDT Technicians to support activities in Bull Arm, NL. The scope of work will be approximately 8 weeks with an expected schedule of 21/21 or 6/1.

What will you be doing?

  • Conducting inspection activities in accordance with approved inspection plans, internal procedures, and regulatory guidelines in onshore and offshore industrial environments
  • Producing detailed reports of inspections, clearly identifying the scope and any defects or inconsistencies found
  • Assisting in the inspection and replacement of equipment, as well as other logistical tasks associated with maintaining a sound state of readiness of installations
  • Ensuring operational safety of all NDT equipment through regular inspection and calibration
  • Complying with safe work practices and procedures in accordance with industry standards, location and required scope of work
We think you should have:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a field inspection technician
  • Level II certification in MT and PT disciplines of Non-Destructive Testing in accordance with CAN/CGSB-48.9712-2014 or equivalent standard is required
  • Level I certification in the UT discipline of Non-Destructive Testing in accordance with CAN/CGSB-48.9712-2014 or equivalent standard is required
  • Additional inspection certificates, including RT, ET, Phased Array, IRATA, API, CWB, NACE are considered an asset
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Exposure to industrial working conditions and various operational environments including Offshore Assets, Drilling and Production Facilities
  • The ability to comply with all mandatory safety training, drug and alcohol screening, medical requirments through the course of employement, to meet all qualifications that may be required for client site access or travel offshore
  • A comfort with working from heights and/or within confined spaces.
