What You'll Do
Provide injectable treatments (e.g., neuromodulators, dermal fillers) within your scope of practice and experience level.
Lead or support local clinical care teams, depending on your role and interest.
Collaborate with the CMO to uphold clinical standards and innovate patient care strategies.
Build trusting relationships with patients through thorough consultations, education, and follow-up.
Participate in protocol development, outcome monitoring, and contribute to our evolving best practices.
JOB SUMMARY
The
Naturopathic Doctor
/
Medical Director
at Bios Wellness Clinics provides holistic, patient-centered care, utilizing natural therapies and practices to promote optimal health and wellness. This role involves diagnosing illnesses, creating individualized treatment plans, and fostering strong relationships with patients to empower them in their health journey. The Naturopathic Doctor will collaborate with other healthcare practitioners and engage in continuous learning to enhance patient outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Expertise
Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose conditions and determine appropriate treatment options.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate botanical medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, and lifestyle counseling.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Work in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer to create and enforce clinical protocols, policies, and procedures tailored to aesthetic treatments.
Patient-Centered Communication
Establish effective communication channels that promote trust and rapport with patients and their families.
Educate patients about naturopathic treatments and empower them to make informed health decisions.
Counsel patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
Holistic Approach to Care
Integrate conventional and alternative medicine approaches as necessary for comprehensive patient care.
Address the physical, emotional, and social aspects of patient health.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, administrative staff, and external partners.
Share expertise and knowledge with colleagues to enhance the overall practice environment.
Continuous Learning and Professional Development
Stay updated on the latest advancements in naturopathic medicine and holistic health practices.
Actively participate in continuing education opportunities and professional organizations to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.
Ethical Practice and Professionalism
Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
Adhere to the regulations and guidelines set forth by the regulatory body governing naturopathic practice.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

You're a Great Fit If You:
A licensed physician in good standing with the Saskatchewan Association of Naturopathic Doctors
Current and valid professional liability insurance coverage, as required by the SAND for practice.
