The
National Sales Director
will play a pivotal role in this vision. This is a highly results-oriented leadership position that combines strategic foresight with hands-on execution. The individual will drive the growth of our retail network while also executing our collaboration with chiropractors and industry administrators. This leader will not only inspire retail sales associates (RSAs) across dealer networks, but also work directly with healthcare professionals to promote referral pathways where chiropractors confidently recommend Araam's products to their patients, purchased through our retailer network.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and support retailer partner sales associate teams, ensuring high levels of motivation, accountability, and performance.
Expand the retail network while maintaining strong partnerships with existing dealers.
Deliver consistent sales training programs that elevate product knowledge, sleep education, and selling effectiveness.
Monitor, support, and enhance in-store execution, ensuring Araam's products are positioned as best-in-class.
Increase product sales at current retail locations.
Develop new retailers and ensure sales targets are met.
Chiropractic & Healthcare Engagement (New Strategic Focus)
Build direct relationships with chiropractor offices to introduce tools and programs that help practitioners communicate the link between sleep quality and patient health.
Promote referral systems that connect chiropractors and retailers, ensuring patients are directed to our products as part of their overall wellness strategy.
Represent Araam at chiropractor conferences, industry forums, and educational events to champion the importance of sleep.
Strategic Sales Leadership
Align retail sales objectives with the company's broader strategy of making sleep a health-first priority.
Refine sales processes, playbooks, and performance metrics to ensure disciplined execution and measurable results.
Provide data-driven forecasts, sales reporting, and insights to guide growth strategies.
Collaborate with Marketing to launch impactful promotions, campaigns, and collateral that resonate with both retailers and healthcare professionals.
Performance & Talent Development
Train and mentor talent across our dealer network, ensuring retail staff are educated on sleep health and brand materials.
Establish and track KPIs and incentive programs across retailer partner locations.
Ensure dealer partners follow agreements, including display guidelines, marketing promotions, and program execution.
Foster a culture of accountability, customer-focus, and continuous learning.
Lead change management initiatives to adapt to evolving retail and healthcare landscapes.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of senior sales management experience, ideally in retail, healthcare products, or related industries.
Proven success in building high-performance teams and managing strategic partnerships.
Experience with CRM systems and data-driven sales planning.
Familiarity with healthcare-related sales, wellness products, or musculoskeletal therapy industries is an asset.

Location
Based in
Edmonton, AB, Canada
, with travel throughout Canada. The position will require time divided between office-based administrative work and face-to-face meetings with retailers and chiropractor clinics. While the primary focus is Alberta, out-of-province travel will be required as market share grows.
