About the Opportunity
Under the direction of the Manager of Sustainability and Improvement, and working closely with the Nova Scotia Health Supply Chain team, the Supply Chain Analyst provides expertise in managing and analyzing data. This is accomplished by combining a fundamental understanding of supply chain and the needs of customers with expert skill in the use of large volumes of information and IT driven systems to support decision making and monitor performance of the service including people, processes and financial management.
The analysts will be assigned accountability for analytical work to day to day work and strategic initiatives. (projects, process work, focus groups, committees, etc\xe2\x80\xa6.) The Analyst is responsible for the creation, management and dissemination of accurate and timely reports and analysis for their department/service/zone. The Analyst provides proactive expertise and advice in conducting analysis and developing recommendations to support decisions making in each zone, improve performance, reduce risks and assisting in the developing of business cases to support improvements.
